A British designed product, the Shadow Lamps are rather intriguing. The shade is made of card and when switched on, the integral LED light reveals a hidden image. This lamp is called Girl on a Swing, only the tree and a rabbit are visible until you turn the lamp on and then a girl on a tree swing is unveiled along with another young child sitting under the tree. The lamp is powered by either 3 AA batteries (not included) or by the enclosed USB cable, which can be connected to a computer, laptop, USB powerbank, a mains USB socket or a mains USB plug (like those provided with mobile phones). Three lighting effects are available from the touch sensitive switch - steady glow, a gentle pulse or a flicker, similar to that produced by a tealight. Delivered flat packed, they are easy to assemble and measure 30.2cm x 10cm.
